The Origins of the Cobra

One day, former driver Carroll Shelby had the audacity to install a 4.2L Ford V8 in an AC Ace.

Thus, the first Cobra was born.

I had the opportunity to capture behind-the-scenes moments from a photoshoot organized for this issue.

Of course, Shelby Gentleman Car is featured, but also Arnaud Taquet, photographer and journalist,

who once again demonstrated the full extent of his talent.

Watching one of the best French automotive photographers at work is an experience in itself:
precise composition, rigorous direction of those involved, meticulous search for the perfect setting…
not to mention his artistic eye that elevates each image.
