A look back at our journey in the 2026 Tour Auto with our Cobra 289 FIA
From the Grand Palais in Paris to Biarritz, our Shelby Cobra 289 FIA Continuation embarked on the 2026 Tour Auto, embarking on a journey of several thousand kilometers that combined legendary roads, timed stages, and iconic circuits.
After more than 400 km of fine-tuning before the start, the Cobra faced particularly challenging weather conditions during the first stages, before finding sunshine again as it traversed the Massif Central, the Pont du Gard, Toulouse, Nogaro, Pau, and the Basque Country.
As the days went by, it demonstrated its full potential on the Magny-Cours, Albi, Nogaro, and Pau-Arnos circuits, while confirming its reliability. Only a few minor adjustments to the exhaust and some stone chips punctuated this adventure.
Beyond the performance, this Auto Tour will remain a wonderful human experience, rich in meetings and sharing with the enthusiasts who came to encourage us throughout the journey.
