Gentleman Car is present at Le Touquet-Paris-Plage Légendes.

From September 18 to 20, 2026, Gentleman Car will be taking part in the 25th edition of the Touquet Paris-Plage Légendes, an event that brings together automotive passion, heritage, elegance and the pleasure of driving over three days.

For this special anniversary edition, Gentleman Car will be present with an exceptional selection from the Shelby universe: Carroll Shelby’s original Motorhome, accompanied by a Shelby Cobra 289 FIA and a Shelby Cobra 427.

Three days celebrating classic cars

For 25 years, the Touquet Paris-Plage Légendes Rally has brought together classic car enthusiasts around shared values: the pleasure of driving, passion and conviviality.

Over three days, the crews will cover almost 400 kilometres through the landscapes of the Côte d’Opale, travelling along the coastline, through picturesque villages and across scenic roads.

Starting and finishing in the heart of Le Touquet-Paris-Plage gives the event a unique atmosphere, culminating in the prize-giving ceremony in front of the iconic Hôtel Barrière Le Westminster.

For Gentleman Car, the event is also an opportunity to showcase two generations of Shelby Cobra, the 289 FIA and the 427, together with an exceptional piece of Shelby history: Carroll Shelby’s original Motorhome.

Carroll Shelby’s original Motorhome

A genuine piece of Shelby heritage, Carroll Shelby’s Motorhome will be one of the highlights of Gentleman Car’s presence at Le Touquet.

This iconic vehicle is a reminder of an era when American motorsport was supported by impressive resources and a unique paddock culture.

Its presence brings the history of Shelby beyond the cars themselves, offering visitors a glimpse into the world of Carroll Shelby, his teams and his many adventures in motorsport.

Two Shelby Cobras on display

Gentleman Car will also showcase two iconic models from the Shelby range.

The Shelby Cobra 289 FIA is directly connected to the world of historic competition. With its racing character and competition-focused design, it embodies the spirit of the Cobra race cars that competed on circuits during the 1960s.

Alongside it, the Shelby Cobra 427 represents another side of the Cobra legend. Its imposing V8 engine and outstanding performance helped make the 427 one of the most iconic American sports cars of its era.

Two models, two philosophies, but one shared history: that of Carroll Shelby and the Cobra.

An event dedicated to automotive elegance

The Touquet Paris-Plage Légendes is about much more than the rally. The event also features several gatherings dedicated to automotive heritage and elegance.

On Saturday, September 19, the new Concours d’État will celebrate authenticity, originality, quality of preservation and the exceptional condition of the cars entered.

On Sunday, September 20, the traditional Concours d’Élégance à la Française, organised under the auspices of the FFVE, will take centre stage. The cars will be displayed in front of the Westminster before taking part in the presentation in front of the jury and the public.

A series of conferences focusing on automotive history, cinema and concours d’élégance will also complete the programme.
