Complete GT40 Overhaul – Behind the Scenes at Shelby Gentleman Car

In this video, Philippe Médart shows us how we perform a complete overhaul of a Gulf GT40 Extra White Body, picked up in Monaco as part of our premium service (transport included).

The main steps:

Initial check with the customer: checking fluid levels and general inspection.
Fuel: draining the old gasoline, refilling with 98 octane fuel and an additive to optimize the octane rating.
Start-up and checks: oil pressure, warm-up, engine performance analysis.
Road test (approximately 30 km): testing at all engine speeds, checking the chassis, steering, braking, and stability.
Chassis adjustments: ride height, weight, front/rear alignment.
Engine and transmission oil change while hot, filter replacement, and maximum extraction of the used oil.
Another road test, then off to the body shop for cosmetic preparation.
