Gentleman Car at the American Days in Toulouse: On the Road with the Shelby Legend

For this edition of the American Days at the MEETT in Toulouse, Gentleman Car hit the road with an exceptional convoy, bringing together history, passion and iconic American vehicles. The destination was Toulouse, where we had the opportunity to share several legendary vehicles from the world of American motoring with the public and, above all, to showcase the legendary Carroll Shelby Motorhome.

The Departure: A Convoy Like No Other

The adventure began at the garage, with the vehicles and convoy being carefully prepared for the journey.

The Ford truck, driven by Christian, set off with its trailer carrying three Cobras and the race-prepared Studebaker.

Alongside it, Jean took the wheel of the Carroll Shelby Motorhome, towing another iconic vehicle behind it: the Ford Country Squire.

It was certainly a spectacular convoy, and one that was impossible to miss on the road.

On the Road to Toulouse

Mile after mile, the convoy made its way south towards Toulouse.

The journey also gave us the opportunity to share some images of the road trip with our community. The miles rolled by, the vehicles continued their journey, and the excitement grew as we got closer to the MEETT.

After several hours on the road, Toulouse was finally in sight.

Arrival and Setup at the MEETT

Once we arrived at the MEETT in Toulouse, the Gentleman Car team got to work setting everything up.

The vehicles were carefully positioned and prepared to welcome visitors. The three Cobras, the race-prepared Studebaker, the Ford Country Squire and, of course, the Carroll Shelby Motorhome created an exceptional display.

Everything was ready. The American Days could begin.

The Carroll Shelby Motorhome Meets Its Public

Throughout the event, the Motorhome proved to be a huge success.

Visitors came in large numbers to discover it, with lines quickly forming outside the vehicle. For many, it was a rare opportunity to step inside this unique piece of Carroll Shelby’s history and discover what lies behind the legend.

There were countless conversations and exchanges with enthusiasts. Their enthusiasm once again demonstrated the incredible interest that Carroll Shelby’s legacy continues to generate today.

This experience was made possible thanks to the dedication of the organizers and everyone who contributed to making this adventure happen.

The Journey Home: One Last Stop in Paris

After several days in Toulouse, it was already time to hit the road again.

The convoy left the MEETT and began the journey home. Jean once again took the wheel of the Carroll Shelby Motorhome, towing the Ford Country Squire, while Christian drove the Ford truck carrying the Cobras and the race-prepared Studebaker back home.

On the way back, the convoy made a final stop in Paris to refuel before continuing its journey to the garage.

Just a few more miles and the adventure would come to an end.
